Maisak, born Maikel Rafael Rico Torres, is a Venezuelan-born singer, songwriter, and composer making waves in the Latin music scene. Though born in Venezuela, he moved to Colombia at the age of two, where he was surrounded by a rich musical culture that shaped his artistic identity. From an early age, music became a defining part of his life, heavily influenced by his father, a vallenato singer.

His big break came in 2020 when he won a contest hosted by The Rudeboyz, the powerhouse producers behind some of Latin music’s biggest hits. This victory opened doors for Maisak, leading to collaborations with top-tier artists, including Maluma. With a natural talent for blending traditional Colombian rhythms with modern reggaeton, he quickly established himself as a unique voice in the industry.

In 2021, Maisak made his solo debut with “Solo Tú,” a track that showcased his ability to fuse heartfelt lyrics with contemporary beats. His career gained further momentum through collaborations with artists like Feid and Ryan Castro. One of his most notable releases, “Se Me Olvida,” a collaboration with Feid, has resonated deeply with audiences, solidifying his place in the urban Latin music scene.

His growing influence was highlighted in 2024 when he took the stage at Madison Square Garden alongside Feid.
