Lowlow, born Giulio Elia Sabatello on September 4, 1993, in Rome, Italy, is a renowned Italian rapper celebrated for his deep, introspective lyrics and versatile flow. His musical journey began at 13 when he immersed himself in Italy’s freestyle competition scene, laying the foundation for his future career in hip-hop.

In 2011, Lowlow dropped his debut mixtape, Metriche Volume 1, under the Honiro Label, which introduced collaborations with artists like Gemitaiz, Mostro, and MixUp. The success of his work grew with the 2014 EP Scusate per il sangue, a collaboration with Mostro, which quickly gained attention. The EP debuted at number nine on the Italian charts, sparking a nationwide tour with numerous sold-out performances.

Lowlow’s career took a major leap with the release of his debut studio album, Redenzione, in 2017 under Sugar Music. As the first rapper to be signed by the label, the album reached number four on the Italian charts and was certified Gold. Its single, Ulisse, earned two Platinum certifications, marking a significant milestone. He followed this with two more successful albums, Il bambino soldato (2018) and Dogma 93 (2020), further cementing his place in Italy’s rap scene.
