Lia Kali, born Julia Isern on July 24, 1997, in Barcelona, Spain, is a rising star in the Spanish music scene, blending soul, reggae, and rap with raw emotion. Growing up in a creative household—her father a drummer and her mother a writer—she was surrounded by artistic expression from an early age. By 16, she was deeply involved in Barcelona’s jam session circuit, riding her bike across the city to collaborate with musicians and explore different genres.

Her love for performing led her to front an Amy Winehouse tribute band, where she honed her stage presence and deepened her connection to soulful music. During the pandemic in 2020, Lia turned inward and began writing her own songs, transforming personal struggles into powerful lyrics. This creative shift led to her debut album, Contra Todo Pronóstico (2023), which featured collaborations with artists like Nanpa Básico and SFDK. The album resonated with audiences, with multiple tracks surpassing a million streams.

In March 2025, Lia released her second album, Kaelis, further cementing her place in the industry. She has performed at major festivals like Cruïlla and Primavera Sound and appeared on popular Spanish TV shows such as El Hormiguero and La Revuelta.
