Lexie Liu

Lexie Liu, born Liu Boxin on December 21, 1998, in Changsha, Hunan, China, is a dynamic and multifaceted artist, renowned for her fusion of various musical genres. From an early age, she developed a passion for music and dance, starting piano lessons at six and learning to dance at four. This early exposure to the arts laid the foundation for her future career as a singer, rapper, and songwriter.

In 2015, Lexie gained recognition when she participated in South Korea’s “K-pop Star 5,” finishing in fourth place. Despite receiving an offer from YG Entertainment, she chose to sign with 88rising, an American label, in 2018. That same year, she reached the finals of “The Rap of China,” which further solidified her position in the music industry.

Lexie’s international breakthrough came when she became the voice behind Seraphine, a character in the popular virtual K-pop group K/DA’s song “MORE.” This exposure helped her reach a global audience. In addition to her music career, she made history in 2017 as the youngest Chinese artist to perform at SXSW, a major milestone in her career.
