Khali, a Moroccan rapper, singer, and producer, has rapidly become a key figure in the French music scene, known for his distinct blend of French, English, and Arabic lyrics. Born to a Moroccan-Algerian family, Khali’s multicultural background plays a crucial role in shaping his unique sound, mixing elements from different cultures and languages. He spent his early years in Vénissieux before moving to Palmer, a neighborhood in Cenon near Bordeaux, which also influenced his musical journey.

Khali’s passion for music began at 17 when he started producing beats and sharing his instrumentals on SoundCloud. By 2018, he began writing lyrics and recording his own vocals, using basic home recording equipment. His early efforts garnered attention, eventually leading to his first EP, Palmer Wild Story, in June 2019. This release marked his official entry into the music world and saw him collaborating with artists like Di-Meh and Ikaz Boi.

In 2020, Khali signed with the label Try to Live, founded by producer Myth Syzer, and released his second EP, Le Tournesol. The following year, his debut album, Laïla, received widespread acclaim, charting in France and Belgium. Songs like “D&G” gained traction, especially on TikTok, further cementing his place in the music scene.

Khali’s introspective and melodic style has drawn comparisons to artists like Playboi Carti, Gunna, and Lil Keed. His music delves into themes of self-doubt, love, and mental health, resonating with a broad audience. In 2023, Khali surprised fans with the release of 23- and sold out a performance at the Olympia in Paris, marking a milestone in his burgeoning career.
