Kennyoung, born Kenny on July 5, 1998, is a South Korean musician, animator, and multimedia artist known for his raw emotional expression and DIY spirit. A creative force in the underground pop-punk and electronic scene, Kennyoung built his sound from the ground up—writing, recording, and producing his own music as a true one-man band. Drawing influence from early 2000s icons like Blink-182 and Simple Plan, he infuses nostalgic punk energy with modern emo and synth-driven elements, creating a style that’s both heartfelt and refreshingly original.

In 2020, he brought his passion for storytelling and music together by forming The Lazy Tails, a band where he continues to front as lead vocalist and guitarist. As the project grew into a full four-member group in 2023, so did its sonic depth. Kennyoung has also made waves through collaborations, most notably with British pop-punk band Scratch21, adding a distinct edge to his already diverse musical portfolio.

Outside of music, Kennyoung is a beloved figure in the furry community. His fursona—a raccoon—reflects his playful, rebellious energy and artistic flair.
