Kassa Overall is a Grammy-nominated musician, producer, drummer, and emcee known for blending avant-garde jazz with the raw energy of hip-hop. Born on October 9, 1982, in Seattle, Washington, he was immersed in music from a young age, eventually studying percussion at the prestigious Oberlin Conservatory. There, he was mentored by legendary jazz drummer Billy Hart, setting the stage for his future career.
