Justin Quiles, born Justin Rafael Quiles Rivera on March 29, 1990, in Bridgeport, Connecticut, is an influential American singer and songwriter of Puerto Rican descent, known for his impact on reggaeton, Latin pop, and Latin trap. His career spans both as a solo artist and a prolific songwriter for top Latin artists.

Quiles’ musical journey began at the age of 13 when he penned his first song while vacationing in Puerto Rico. He eventually moved back to Puerto Rico, where he honed his craft, collaborating with the duo Genio & Baby Johnny and releasing demos online. In 2013, he signed with Rich Music, a Miami-based label, which marked the official start of his professional career.

His debut album, Carpe Diem (2015), was followed by La Promesa (2016), which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard Top Latin Albums chart. Quiles’ songwriting talent shone through with major hits such as “Pierde Los Modales” by J Balvin featuring Daddy Yankee, “Take It Off” by Lil Jon featuring Yandel and Becky G, and “Recuérdame” by Maluma.
