About Jory Boy

Jory Boy, born Fernando Luis Sierra Benítez on July 4, 1986, in Carolina, Puerto Rico, has made a lasting mark on the reggaeton scene with his signature smooth vocals and heartfelt lyrics. He first stepped into the spotlight as one half of the duo Nova & Jory, which he formed in 2003 with fellow artist Nova. Together, they released their debut album Mucha Calidad in 2011, featuring high-profile collaborations with artists like Daddy Yankee and Ñengo Flow. After nearly a decade of working as a duo, the two amicably parted ways in 2012 to pursue solo careers.

As a solo artist, Jory Boy hit the ground running. His debut album Matando La Liga dropped in 2015 under Young Boss Entertainment and soared to the top of the Latin music charts, landing at No. 1 on the Latin Rhythm Albums and No. 3 on the Top Latin Albums. He followed up with a series of successful projects, including Otra Liga, Otra Liga 2, Creme de la Creme, and La Esencia, all of which showcased his growth as both a vocalist and a songwriter. His collaborations with heavyweights like Ozuna, Maluma, and Anuel AA have further cemented his influence in Latin urban music.

Known for love ballads with an urban twist, tracks like “Imposible Amor” and “Detrás de Ti” have earned him RIAA gold certifications. Offstage, Jory Boy remains active in community efforts, notably taking part in hurricane relief events. With over a decade in the game, he continues to evolve while staying true to his romantic and rhythmic roots.
