JO1 is a popular Japanese boy band that emerged from the 2019 reality competition show Produce 101 Japan. The group is made up of eleven talented members: Issei Mamehara, Ren Kawashiri, Takumi Kawanishi, Shosei Ohira, Shion Tsurubo, Ruki Shiroiwa, Keigo Sato, Syoya Kimata, Junki Kono, Sukai Kinjo, and Sho Yonashiro. They officially debuted on March 4, 2020, under LAPONE Entertainment, a collaboration between Yoshimoto Kogyo and CJ ENM.

The group’s name, “JO1,” holds significant meaning. “J” stands for Japan, and “O1” represents their formation in the first year of the Reiwa era. Their fanbase, known as “JAM” (JO1 AND ME), plays a crucial role in their success, reflecting the bond between the members and their supporters.
