Jennie Kim, better known simply as Jennie, is a South Korean singer, rapper, and actress who gained worldwide recognition as a member of BLACKPINK. Born on January 16, 1996, in Seoul, she spent part of her childhood in New Zealand before returning to South Korea to pursue her dream in music. She joined YG Entertainment as a trainee in 2010, spending years honing her craft before debuting with BLACKPINK in 2016. With her confident stage presence and undeniable charisma, she quickly became one of the standout figures in K-pop.
