Halle whose full name is Lynn Bailey, born March 27, 2000, in Mableton, Georgia, is an American singer and actress who has gained widespread recognition as a member of the musical duo Chloe x Halle. Alongside her older sister, Chlöe Bailey, Halle first captured attention with their musical talents showcased on YouTube. Their covers of popular songs, including Beyoncé’s “Pretty Hurts,” garnered significant acclaim and led to their discovery by Beyoncé herself. The sisters signed with Beyoncé’s Parkwood Entertainment in 2016, marking the beginning of their professional music career.

The duo’s debut EP, Sugar Symphony, released in April 2016, was well-received and established them as rising stars in the music industry. Their subsequent projects, including the mixtape The Two of Us in 2017 and their debut studio album The Kids Are Alright in 2018, further cemented their reputation. Their innovative sound and vocal prowess earned them critical acclaim and two Grammy nominations for Best New Artist and Best Urban Contemporary Album.
