Faye Webster

Faye Webster, born on June 25, 1997, in Atlanta, Georgia, is an American singer-songwriter known for her distinctive blend of indie pop, alt-country, R&B, and soft rock. Growing up in a musically enriched household, with a grandfather who played bluegrass guitar and a mother who played guitar and fiddle, Webster was surrounded by diverse musical influences from an early age. She began crafting her own music at the age of 14, and while attending Henry W. Grady High School in Atlanta, she and her friends formed a rap group. Her father encouraged her to record her performances, which helped set the stage for her musical journey.

Webster’s music career spans five studio albums, each showcasing her evolving style. Her debut, Run and Tell (2013), was followed by her self-titled album in 2017. The release of Atlanta Millionaires Club in 2019 marked a pivotal moment in her career, drawing from 70s pop, mellow country, and R&B influences, reflecting her deep connection to Atlanta’s vibrant music scene. She continued to evolve with I Know I’m Funny Haha (2021) and is set to release Underdressed at the Symphony in 2024.

Outside of music, Webster is an avid Atlanta Braves fan and a talented photographer. Her work, which includes capturing images of local rappers like Lil Yachty and Shelley FKA DRAM, has been featured in major outlets like Billboard and Rolling Stone. Additionally, she was commissioned by Nike in 2017 to shoot an ad campaign for the Air Max 97 shoe.

Webster also has a passion for yo-yoing and even attended the World Yo-Yo Contest. She has strong ties to Atlanta’s music community, previously dating Boothlord from Danger Incorporated during their time at Awful Records.
