Ezhel

Ezhel, born Sercan İpekçioğlu on July 1, 1991, in Ankara, Turkey, is a celebrated Turkish rapper, singer, and songwriter who has carved out a unique place for himself in the music world. Raised in the vibrant Cebeci district of Ankara, he was exposed to a rich array of musical influences from a young age, thanks to his mother, a professional folk dancer, and his uncle, a musician and sound engineer. These early influences helped shape his diverse musical style, blending elements of trap, hip hop, and reggae into something truly his own.

Initially performing under the name Ais Ezhel, he later simplified it to just Ezhel. His breakthrough came with the release of his debut album Müptezhel in 2017, which quickly became a milestone in his career. The album resonated with a wide audience, showcasing his talent for fusing contemporary sounds with personal and culturally rich storytelling. Following this success, Ezhel collaborated with prominent artists such as Ufo361 on Lights Out (2019) and Murda on Made in Turkey, further expanding his influence.
