Eurohead

Simon Hessman, better known by his stage name Eurohead, is a Swedish producer and songwriter carving a distinct path in electronic music by fusing traditional Swedish folk with pulsing, futuristic club sounds. Hailing from the quiet town of Fjärås in Sweden’s Kungsbacka region, Hessman grew up surrounded by a wide range of musical influences—a foundation that would later inform his genre-defying style.

Before stepping into the spotlight as Eurohead, Hessman made waves under the name Simon On The Moon, where he explored everything from acoustic folk to neo-soul and glossy, experimental pop. His sharp ear for sonic texture and melody soon caught the attention of major names, leading to writing and production credits with the likes of James Blake, Sampha, Jamie xx, BLACKPINK, Khalid, and 6lack—a résumé that reflects his broad creative reach.

In 2022, he introduced Eurohead, a project that reimagines Swedish cultural motifs through the lens of high-energy, emotional club music. His debut EP, Mig & Dig (released via YEAR0001 in late 2024), is a bold statement—fusing ethereal folk vocals, pounding eurodance rhythms, and experimental textures. Collaborations with artists like Lena Willemark and Varg²™ added emotional depth and cultural resonance to the release.

As Eurohead, Hessman continues to challenge and expand the boundaries of dance music, drawing fans from underground clubs to global festival stages. With collaborators like Bladee, Namasenda, and Yung Lean, he’s shaping a sound that’s nostalgic, hyper-modern, and uniquely his own.
