Eem Triplin

Naeem Muhammad, better known by his stage name Eem Triplin, is an up-and-coming American rapper and producer from Johnstown, Pennsylvania. Born on February 13, 2001, Eem’s musical journey began in 2014 when his older brother introduced him to FL Studio, a popular digital audio workstation. His early experiments with beats led him to launch his YouTube channel in May 2015, where he posted his first beat, a Lex Luger-type instrumental, signaling the start of his production career.

Eem’s early works include a number of EPs like N0wh3r3 (2019) and Gutta (2020), but it was his 2022 track “Awkward Freestyle” that truly put him on the map. The song, which samples Tyler, The Creator’s “Awkward,” quickly gained traction, amassing over 22 million streams on Spotify. The track’s unique mix of rapid-fire flows paired with slow, syrupy samples showcased Eem’s distinctive sound and set him apart from his contemporaries.

In addition to his solo work, Eem has worked with notable underground artists such as $not and T9ine, further establishing his versatility as both a producer and rapper. His production style is known for its energetic beats and intricate sampling, drawing influences from various genres to create a sound that’s fresh and dynamic.

In February 2025, Eem released his debut album, Melody of a Memory, which showcases his growth as an artist. The project blends experimental sounds with his signature style, marking a significant milestone in his career as a rising star in the music scene.
