Draganov

Draganov, born Adnan Mahyou in 1990 in Oujda, Morocco, is a dynamic figure in the Moroccan music scene, renowned for his roles as a rapper, producer, and artistic director. Raised in the culturally rich city of Oujda, he was deeply influenced by its diverse heritage, which shaped his unique musical style.

In 2014, Draganov made a pivotal decision to fully dedicate himself to music. That year, his hard work and talent were recognized when he won the Mawazine award in the rap category, marking a significant milestone in his career. He went on to establish his first music studio in Oujda, which became a creative hub for local youth to express themselves through hip-hop, further solidifying his influence on Morocco’s growing music scene.

Seeking greater opportunities, Draganov moved to Casablanca in 2017, where he expanded his focus to music production and artistic direction. This move opened doors for collaborations with top Moroccan artists like ElGrandeToto, Asmae Charifi, Manal Benchlikha, and 7liwa. His albums, including SLLM, Khissous V2, and #DRAGAGALESSFDAR, showcase his evolving sound and deep lyrical content.

Draganov’s 2022 album Colors explores themes of ambition, dreams, and self-discovery, featuring collaborations with artists such as Dollypran, Inkonnu, and Hamid El Kesri. The album was a massive success, amassing over 35 million streams in its first weeks.

In addition to his musical career, Draganov has made his mark in the Moroccan advertising industry, crafting memorable musical identities for major brands. With his innovative spirit, he continues to inspire and shape the future of Moroccan music.
