Disclosure

Disclosure is an English electronic music duo made up of brothers Guy and Howard Lawrence. Born and raised in Reigate, Surrey, the two grew up in a musical household—both of their parents were professional musicians. That early influence sparked their creativity from a young age, with Guy learning drums by the age of three and Howard picking up bass at eight. Their shared passion led them to dive deeper into music, eventually forming Disclosure in 2010.

They kicked off their career with the track “Offline Dexterity,” but it was their 2013 debut album Settle that truly launched them into the spotlight. Featuring hits like “Latch” with Sam Smith, the album blended deep house, garage, and pop into a fresh sound that earned them a Grammy nomination and a global following. Their 2015 follow-up, Caracal, featured big names like Lorde and The Weeknd and debuted at No. 1 in the UK.

In 2020, Disclosure dropped Energy, an album packed with vibrant collaborations from artists like Kehlani, Aminé, and Syd. Then in 2023, they took a more stripped-down, club-focused approach with Alchemy, leaning into their dance roots with fewer vocals and more raw energy.

With their genre-defying style and electrifying live shows, Disclosure has become one of the most respected names in electronic music. Constantly evolving yet unmistakably their own, the Lawrence brothers continue to shape the global soundscape with bold, dancefloor-ready innovation.
