About Dillom
Dylan León Masa, better known as Dillom, is a 24-year-old Argentine rapper, singer, and producer who has become a leading force in the world of Latin American urban music. Born on December 5, 2000, in Buenos Aires, Dillom’s early years were fraught with personal hardships, including his mother’s incarceration and a strained relationship with his Orthodox Jewish father. These challenges led him to live on the streets before finding refuge with a close friend.
Dillom’s music career took off in 2018 with the release of his self-produced track “Dripping,” which immediately caught the attention of listeners due to its gritty energy and distinct style. His music is often classified as part of the “second wave” of Argentine trap, characterized by a “saturated, euphoric” sound and candid, raw lyricism. His debut album, Post Mortem (2021), was met with critical acclaim and even earned him a nomination for Best Urban Album at the 2022 Premios Gardel.
In 2024, Dillom released his highly anticipated second album, Por Cesárea, which featured collaborations with prominent artists like Lali Espósito and Andrés Calamaro. The album went on to be nominated for Best Alternative Music Album at the 2024 Latin Grammy Awards, cementing Dillom’s place as a key player in the Latin music scene.
Apart from his solo work, Dillom is also a member of the Rip Gang collective and has worked with several other artists, contributing to the ever-evolving Latin urban music scene. His unique blend of sounds and raw storytelling continues to resonate with a growing fanbase worldwide.
