Jonathan Lyndale Kirk, known professionally as DaBaby, was born on December 22, 1991, in Cleveland, Ohio. At six, he moved to Charlotte, North Carolina, where he spent most of his formative years. Growing up in a household influenced by music, DaBaby listened to artists like Eminem, 50 Cent, and Lil Wayne, which shaped his aspirations. He attended Vance High School and later enrolled at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
