Corlyx

Corlyx is a darkwave trio formed in 2015, known for its fusion of post-punk, gothwave, and industrial dark electro. The band consists of Caitlin Stokes (vocals and songwriting), Brandon Ashley (guitar and producer), and Davide Rocco (bass). Originally based in Los Angeles, Corlyx now operates between the UK and Italy, bringing a unique international influence to their music.

Caitlin’s musical journey began at age 11 when she learned to play guitar and sing under the guidance of her mother, a vocalist. She started her career in her mother’s band, Edge Of August, before embracing a darker, more experimental sound. Brandon, inspired by his family’s musical background, began composing music at age 9. His past experiences include touring across Europe, Russia, Indonesia, and India, where he shared stages with major artists like Iron Maiden and Skid Row.

Corlyx’s music blends 1980s goth influences with Caitlin’s haunting, ethereal vocals, which the band describes as “Death Pop.” Their sound has evolved over time, and they’ve become known for their high-energy performances that captivate audiences. The band has toured extensively across Europe, the UK, and the US, sharing the stage with acts like Blutengel, Twin Tribes, and Double Echo.

In 2020, Corlyx signed with Negative Gain Productions and released Together Apart, followed by the 2022 single “Raindrops” featuring Marc from Massive Ego. Their music reflects a commitment to pushing boundaries while staying true to their underground roots.
