Chris Young

Chris Young, born Christopher Alan Young on June 12, 1985, in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, is a renowned American country music singer and songwriter. He first captured national attention by winning the fourth season of the USA Network’s “Nashville Star” in 2006, which launched his career with a recording contract from RCA Records Nashville.

His debut album, released later that year, featured hits like “Drinkin’ Me Lonely” and “You’re Gonna Love Me.” With his follow-up album, The Man I Want to Be (2009), Chris achieved even greater success, scoring three consecutive number-one singles: “Voices,” “Gettin’ You Home (The Black Dress Song),” and the title track. His third album, Neon (2011), continued his streak of chart-toppers, with songs like “Tomorrow” and “You.”

In 2017, Chris reached a milestone in his career by becoming a member of the Grand Ole Opry, cementing his place in the country music legacy. Beyond his music, he is also deeply committed to philanthropy, supporting causes such as Little Kids Rock and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
