Brunori Sas

Dario Brunori, known professionally as Brunori Sas, was born on September 28, 1977, in Cosenza, Calabria, Italy. A talented singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Brunori Sas blends indie pop with traditional Italian sounds. He grew up in the towns of Joggi and Guardia Piemontese before studying economics and commerce at the University of Siena. His stage name, “Brunori S.A.S.,” is a nod to his family’s construction company.

Brunori Sas made his debut in 2009 with the album Vol. 1, which earned him the Premio Ciampi for Best Debut Album. His follow-up albums, Vol. 2 – Poveri Cristi (2011) and Vol. 3 – Il cammino di Santiago in taxi (2014), were met with critical acclaim and chart success in Italy. His 2017 release, A casa tutto bene, marked a milestone in his career, reaching number three on the Italian charts and featuring the hit “La verità,” which won the Targa Tenco for Song of the Year.

In 2020, Brunori Sas achieved a new peak with his fifth album, Cip!, which debuted at number one on the FIMI albums chart. His music is known for its heartfelt lyrics and its ability to mix contemporary styles with traditional Italian melodies.

In 2025, Brunori Sas competed in the prestigious Sanremo Music Festival with the song “L’albero delle noci,” where he earned third place, further solidifying his place in Italy’s rich music tradition.
