Brad Paisley

Brad Paisley, whose real name is Bradley Douglas Paisley was born on October 28, 1972, in Glen Dale, West Virginia. He is an acclaimed American country music singer, songwriter, and guitarist. Renowned for his blend of skillful songwriting, wry humor, and masterful guitar playing, Paisley has become one of country music’s most celebrated artists. His journey into music began at the age of eight when his grandfather, who introduced him to country music, gifted him his first guitar, a Sears Danelectro Silvertone. Paisley quickly developed a passion for music, performing in his church and at various local events, which eventually led to the formation of his first band, “Brad Paisley and the C-Notes.”

By the time he was 12, Paisley’s talents caught the attention of Tom Miller, the program director of a local radio station in Wheeling, West Virginia. Miller invited him to perform on Jamboree USA, a live country music program, where Paisley honed his craft over the next eight years. Over the years, Paisley has released twelve studio albums and a Christmas compilation, all of which have been certified Gold or higher by the RIAA. In addition to his musical achievements, Paisley has made significant contributions to various charitable causes. In 2018, he and his wife, Kimberly Williams-Paisley, partnered with Belmont University to open a free referral-based grocery store in Nashville to support the community in need.
