Mateusz Karaś, better known by his stage name Białas, is a trailblazing figure in the Polish hip-hop scene. Born on December 11, 1987, in Teresin, Poland, he developed a passion for rap early in life and made his official entry into music in 2006. What initially started with freestyle battles and underground mixtapes quickly evolved into a full-blown career. His sharp lyrical style and fearless approach to storytelling helped him carve out a name for himself in a growing and competitive music landscape.

A pivotal moment in Białas’s journey came when he teamed up with fellow rapper Solar. Together, they co-founded SBM Label, a powerhouse in Polish rap that has since launched the careers of many rising stars. He followed up with Newcomer in 2023 and Polonn in 2024, reinforcing his ability to stay relevant and push boundaries.
