Benjamin Kheng is a dynamic and multi-talented Singaporean artist whose creative spirit spans music, acting, writing, and even sports. Born on August 15, 1990, in Singapore, Kheng was once a national youth swimmer before diving headfirst into the world of entertainment. He made his musical debut in 2012 as a founding member of the indie-pop band The Sam Willows, a group that quickly rose to fame with their infectious energy and polished sound. Their success took them beyond local borders to perform at international festivals like SXSW in the U.S., MU:CON in Korea, and the Canadian Music Festival, earning them a solid spot on the global music map.

Following the band’s hiatus in 2019, Kheng stepped confidently into a solo career, releasing his debut single “Wicked,” which introduced fans to a more introspective and experimental side of his artistry. Songs like “Find Me” and “Lovers Forever” continued to showcase his knack for storytelling, culminating in the 2020 release of his debut EP A Sea That Never Stops. His music blends pop with elements of alternative hip-hop, rock, and electronic sounds, creating a rich emotional palette that resonates with a wide audience.
