Ali Hoàng Dương

Ali Hoàng Dương, born in 1996 in Phan Thiết, Bình Thuận, is a rising star in the Vietnamese music scene. His musical journey began when he moved to Ho Chi Minh City at the age of 17, where he took on various jobs to support himself while nurturing his passion for singing. Although he enrolled at the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music, he eventually left after two years, feeling that the institution’s focus did not align with his musical style.

In 2017, Ali Hoàng Dương gained widespread recognition as the winner of the popular singing competition Giọng hát Việt, where he was mentored by coach Thu Minh. His victory catapulted him into the spotlight, but it also came with the challenge of establishing a strong musical identity. Despite the initial success, his subsequent releases struggled to make a lasting impact on the public.

In 2019, Ali took on a new role as a coach on Giọng hát Việt nhí, becoming the youngest mentor in the history of the show. However, this move sparked mixed reactions from viewers, with some questioning his experience and abilities in this new position.

Despite facing challenges and criticism, Ali Hoàng Dương remains committed to his music career. His perseverance and passion continue to drive him forward as he works to solidify his place in Vietnam’s music industry.
