Erick Raúl Alemán Ramírez, known professionally as Alemán, was born on February 20, 1990, in Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur, Mexico. He is a trailblazer in the Latin rap scene, renowned for his fusion of classic hip-hop and modern Latin influences. Alemán’s deep-rooted connection to music began in his teenage years, where he drew inspiration from rap legends like 2Pac, Notorious B.I.G., Dr. Dre, and Snoop Dogg. His father, a breakdancer, introduced him to the hip-hop culture, and Alemán soon found his voice in the genre.

Alemán started his career as part of the group 2 Rimas, which released their debut album Click Clack Punto Exacto in 2009. After his time with the group, he launched a successful solo career in 2015 with his debut album Pase de Abordar, under the Homegrown Entertainment label. His musical journey has been marked by numerous collaborations, including with legendary artists like Snoop Dogg and B-Real of Cypress Hill. In 2022, he contributed to the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack, collaborating with Nigerian artist Rema on the track “Pantera,” further cementing his international stature.

Alemán’s discography includes albums like Eclip$e (2018), Humo En La Trampa (2019–2021), Huracán (2021), Haciéndolo Fino (2023), and Confesiones (2024), with lyrics that blend personal experiences and cultural narratives.
