Minnie

Minnie, born Nicha Yontararak on October 23, 1997, in Bangkok, Thailand, is a singer-songwriter, composer, and actress, best known as the main vocalist of (G)I-DLE. Coming from a musically gifted family—her mother and uncle are both pianists—Minnie was exposed to music from an early age, which helped shape her artistic path.

During her school years at Wattana Wittaya Academy, she actively participated in cheerleading and school musicals, refining her stage presence. In 2014, she auditioned for Cube Entertainment during their Thailand auditions, earning a spot as a trainee. This opportunity led her to move to South Korea in 2015, where she spent years honing her skills before debuting with (G)I-DLE on May 2, 2018. With her unique vocal tone and charisma, she quickly became a standout member of the group.

Beyond her group activities, Minnie has explored various creative avenues. In 2021, she made her acting debut in the Netflix sitcom So Not Worth It, expanding her presence beyond music. She has also showcased her songwriting and composing talents by contributing to (G)I-DLE’s discography, proving herself as more than just a vocalist.

Fluent in Thai, Korean, and English, Minnie’s multilingual abilities have played a key role in (G)I-DLE’s international success, helping them connect with fans worldwide.
