Marracash

Fabio Bartolo Rizzo, better known by his stage name Marracash, is a prominent Italian rapper, songwriter, and record producer. Born on May 22, 1979, in Nicosia, Sicily, he moved to the Barona district in Milan during his youth, where his musical career began to take shape.

Marracash first rose to prominence in the early 2000s as part of the hip-hop collective Dogo Gang. His debut mixtape, Roccia Music Vol. 1, released in 2005, showcased his talent and set the stage for his first studio album, Marracash, which arrived in 2008 and quickly climbed into the top ten of the Italian Albums Chart. This success marked the start of his solo career, which would go on to produce numerous hit albums.

Over the years, Marracash has consistently delivered chart-topping records. His 2016 collaboration with fellow rapper Gué Pequeno, Santeria, and his 2019 album Persona both claimed the number one spot on the Italian Albums Chart, cementing his place in Italy’s rap scene.

In December 2024, Marracash released his seventh studio album, È finita la pace, and announced plans for his first-ever stadium tour in Italy, set for the summer of 2025. Beyond his music, he co-founded Roccia Music, an independent label that has become a key player in the Italian hip-hop industry. Marracash’s influence continues to shape the genre, earning him both critical acclaim and a loyal fan following.
