Marking her transition from internet sensation to full-fledged recording artist, the album introduces Yeri Mua’s voice to the Latin urban music world with a bold mix of reggaetón, trap, and pop, infused with empowering themes about self-worth, resilience, and growth.
The album’s title, De Chava (“From a Girl”), is a personal nod to her evolution—from a young woman navigating public scrutiny to an artist determined to take control of her narrative. Yeri has described the album as a love letter to all the women who have ever felt underestimated, yet continue to rise stronger.
Yeri Mua first gained massive attention in 2023 with her breakout single “Chupón”, which went viral and racked up over 95 million views on YouTube. Riding the wave of success, she followed up with club favorites like “Con To’,” “Traka,” “Croketita,” and “Él No Es Tuyo” featuring Bellakath. Her collaboration with Snow Tha Product on “Modo Antidepresivo” further proved her potential and adaptability in the urban scene.
