About Sagitario
Sagitario is the highly anticipated sixth studio album by Mexican singer-songwriter Paty Cantú, set to release on March 27, 2025. This album marks a pivotal moment in her career, showcasing her artistic evolution and newfound independence.
The title, Sagitario, is a reflection of Cantú’s zodiac sign, Sagittarius, symbolizing freedom, adventure, and an endless pursuit of truth. She describes the project as an “emotional map,” exploring themes of self-discovery, love, resilience, and staying true to oneself despite life’s challenges.
Sonically, Sagitario pushes boundaries, blending electronic beats with acoustic elements and experimental sounds. The result is a bold, modern sound that highlights Cantú’s growth as both a songwriter and performer. The album also features exciting collaborations, including duets with José Madero and El Malilla, and production from industry heavyweights known for their work with Latin music’s biggest names.
The album’s lead single, “Tal Vez,” debuted in June 2024, offering a deep and introspective look into life’s uncertainties. Co-written with Esmeralda Cantoral and rising star Goca, and produced by Just Roger, the song embraces the philosophy that everything happens for a reason.
Beyond the music, Sagitario presents a carefully curated visual concept. From its album artwork to music videos, every element is designed to reflect the album’s celestial and emotional themes, merging symbolic imagery with modern aesthetics.
To celebrate the release and 20 years in the music industry, Paty Cantú will headline a special concert at Mexico City’s Auditorio Nacional on October 19, 2025. The event promises to be an unforgettable night, blending her new material with the hits that have defined her career.
With Sagitario, Paty Cantú reaffirms her place as one of Latin pop’s most dynamic voices, delivering a project that is both deeply personal and sonically groundbreaking.
