BUZZKILL, the debut album from Filipino-American singer-songwriter Lyn Lapid, dropped on April 25, 2025, via Mercury Records. Known for her breakout viral hit “Producer Man,” Lapid steps confidently into a new chapter with this 12-track collection. Drawing from her personal journey—including her move from Maryland to Los Angeles—the album explores identity, isolation, and the emotional highs and lows of coming into one’s own.

True to its title, BUZZKILL doesn’t shy away from vulnerability. It blends R&B, indie pop, and alternative sounds, allowing Lapid’s delicate yet expressive voice to shine through. Tracks like “i’ll be happy when,” “buttons,” “coraline,” and “death wish” showcase her introspective songwriting, touching on self-doubt, anxiety, and the longing for connection. In support of the release, Lyn Lapid announced her very first headlining tour—the Buzzkill World Tour—set to kick off on May 6, 2025. The tour will take her across Europe, the UK, and North America, a major milestone that reflects her rapidly growing international fanbase.
