Forever Is a Feeling

Forever Is a Feeling, the highly anticipated fourth studio album by Lucy Dacus, is set for release on March 28, 2025, via Geffen Records. This album marks her first solo project since Home Video in 2021 and follows her Grammy-winning contributions with the supergroup boygenius. Forever Is a Feeling promises to be a fresh exploration of Dacus’s signature storytelling, blending intimate lyrics with her evolving musical style.

To build excitement, Dacus has already released two singles from the album: “Ankles” and “Limerence.” The music video for “Ankles,” filmed in Paris, features actress Havana Rose Liu and offers a glimpse into the album’s rich visual and emotional landscape. The album consists of 13 tracks, featuring collaborations with her boygenius bandmates Phoebe Bridgers and Julien Baker, as well as artists such as Hozier, Blake Mills, Bartees Strange, Madison Cunningham, Collin Pastore, Jake Finch, and Melina Duterte.

The album’s cover art, a Renaissance-style portrait of Dacus by artist Will St. John, sets the tone for the reflective and timeless themes explored in the music. Following the release of Forever Is a Feeling, Dacus will embark on a North American tour, starting on April 16, 2025, in Philadelphia. The tour will include major cities like New York, Toronto, Nashville, and Los Angeles, with support from Katie Gavin of MUNA and jasmine.4.t. Additionally, $1 from each ticket sold will be donated to the PLUS1 LA Fires Fund.
