Donda 2 is Kanye West’s eleventh studio album, released on February 24, 2022. In a groundbreaking move, West made the album available exclusively through his $200 Stem Player, a device that lets users isolate and remix individual tracks. This decision marked his desire to bypass traditional streaming platforms, giving him more control over how his music is distributed and consumed.
The album features collaborations with notable artists, including Migos, Jack Harlow, Soulja Boy, Travis Scott, and others. Donda 2 was executive produced by Future and showcases a mix of experimental sounds and intricate production. To promote the album, West hosted a live performance event called “Kanye West: Donda Experience Performance,” held at LoanDepot Park in Miami on February 22, 2022. The event also saw appearances from Marilyn Manson, DaBaby, and Playboi Carti, and was streamed in IMAX theaters across the U.S.
In a further evolution of his artistic journey, West released an updated version of Donda 2 on digital streaming platforms on April 29, 2025, under the stage name Donda. This new version included an altered tracklist and updated production, reflecting his continual artistic growth.
