Deeper Well: Deeper into the Well

Deeper Well, Kacey Musgraves’s fifth studio album, was released on August 2, 2024. Known for her lyrical introspection, Musgraves dives deep into themes of vulnerability, self-exploration, and personal growth on this album. With a more mature sound, she draws from her own life experiences, reflecting on both the challenges and beauty that come with navigating life’s most emotional moments. The album’s release was accompanied by a worldwide tour. Musgraves kicked off the Deeper Well World Tour in April 2024, touring Europe and the UK with Madi Diaz as a supporting act. Following this, she brought the tour to North America in September 2024, performing in major cities including Dublin, Amsterdam, Glasgow, Boston, San Francisco, Dallas, and Nashville. This extensive tour further solidified Musgraves’s place in the global music scene while providing fans with a chance to experience her new songs live.

Deeper Well has received widespread critical acclaim. It debuted at number two on the U.S. Billboard 200, and it topped the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. Internationally, the album performed well too, securing the number three spot on the UK Albums Chart. It earned recognition with five UK Specialist Number 1 awards, a testament to its broad appeal and Musgraves’s continued influence in country and beyond.

In celebration of Deeper Well’s release, Musgraves held a series of unique pop-up shops at farmers’ markets in Nashville, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Jersey City on August 4, 2024. These events featured exclusive merchandise and vinyl, allowing fans to further connect with the album in an intimate, personal setting. This promotional effort reflected Musgraves’s strong bond with her fanbase and her commitment to delivering a unique experience.
