About Echo (English Translation)
Echo (English Translation) is the English Translation version of album ECho which is the second solo album by Jin (Kim Seokjin) of BTS, released on May 16, 2025, at 1 PM KST under Big Hit Music. Following his 2024 debut Happy, this new record marks a powerful step forward in Jin’s solo journey—showcasing deeper introspection, emotional vulnerability, and musical diversity.
The album features seven tracks that explore themes of love, longing, growth, and healing. The title track, “Don’t Say You Love Me,” has captivated fans with its poignant message and cinematic visuals—rumored to include cameo appearances from Coldplay’s Chris Martin and actress Dakota Johnson. Other standout tracks include “Nothing Without Your Love,” “Loser” (feat. YENA), “Rope It,” “Background,” “Journey with the Clouds,” and “To the Me of Today.”
Musically, Echo is a rich blend of pop rock, ‘80s synth-pop, country, and subtle elements of alternative rock—demonstrating Jin’s evolving artistry and comfort in pushing sonic boundaries. Critics have praised the album for its emotive storytelling and cohesive sound, capturing both personal reflection and universal emotion.
To support the release, Jin will embark on his first solo world tour, titled RunSeokjin Ep. Tour, kicking off in Goyang, South Korea, on June 28, 2025, with stops planned across Asia, North America, and Europe. He will also perform live on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on May 21.
Echo is available in three physical editions—(I), (II), and (III)—each featuring unique designs and collectible items, as well as a Weverse Albums version. Pre-orders began on April 15, with exclusive gifts for early buyers.
