This comeback marks a bold and transformative step for the group, celebrating their unity and artistic growth since their 2018 debut. Arriving just weeks after their seventh anniversary, We are was made available for pre-order on May 2, 2025, offering fans exclusive benefits like unreleased photocards and limited-edition gifts. The album is available in various formats—including Versions A, B, and C, along with a jewel case and photobook version—each curated with unique visuals and content to cater to different types of collectors.

The six-track album showcases (G)I-DLE’s musical depth and cohesion as a group. Songs like “Good Thing,” “Girlfriend,” and “Love Tease” lean into their pop-forward sensibilities, while tracks such as “Chain” and “Unstoppable” reflect a more fierce and empowering tone. The closing ballad, “그래도 돼요 (It’s Still Okay),” brings emotional closure with a softer, introspective mood.
