Band Aid (Romanized) 

Band Aid is the ninth extended play (EP) by South Korean band DAY6, released on September 2, 2024, through Studio J and JYP Entertainment. This EP marks the band’s return with new music following a significant hiatus and lineup changes, including Jae’s departure and the members’ military service. Produced by their frequent collaborator Hong Ji-sang, Band Aid features a collection of eight tracks that continue to reflect the band’s signature sound while exploring new thematic depths. In support of Band Aid, DAY6 is set to embark on the Forever Young World Tour (2024–25), which will see them performing across 11 cities in Asia. The tour kicks off with three shows at the Inspire Arena in Incheon, South Korea, from September 20 to 22, 2024. It will then continue through various major cities, concluding with a performance at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, Philippines, on February 22, 2025. The tour not only celebrates the release of Band Aid but also serves as a platform to connect with their international fanbase and showcase their live performance prowess.

The announcement of Band Aid and its supporting tour was made on August 9, 2024, with a three-minute film released on August 19 to introduce the album’s concept. This was followed by a “track preview film” on August 21, which gave fans a taste of the EP’s musical content through instrumental snippets played by the members. This strategic rollout generated excitement and anticipation for the EP’s release, highlighting DAY6’s continued engagement with their audience through innovative promotional methods.
