About COMUNI MORTALI
Comuni Mortali marks the highly anticipated return of Achille Lauro, released on April 18, 2025, under Warner Music Italy. As his seventh studio album, it represents a deeply personal and stylistic shift for the artist—one that embraces the essence of classic Italian songwriting while weaving in Lauro’s unmistakable modern edge. Across twelve tracks, Lauro showcases both lyrical depth and musical evolution, with standout pieces like Incoscienti giovani, his entry for the 75th Sanremo Festival where he placed seventh, and the emotionally charged Amore disperato. The single Amor gained attention through a surprise performance in Rome’s iconic Piazza di Spagna, capturing the city’s heart. To cater to fans and collectors alike, the album is available in multiple formats including CD, standard and deluxe vinyl editions, some of which are autographed and individually numbered.
Described by Lauro himself as “the most important album of my career”, Comuni Mortali is more than a musical project—it’s a narrative journey. Written between Rome, Los Angeles, and New York, the album reflects Lauro’s growth as both an artist and a man. Themes span from his relationship with his mother to vivid memories of growing up in the outskirts of Rome, creating an honest and vulnerable portrait of identity, love, and resilience. To celebrate the album, Lauro will headline two sold-out concerts at Rome’s Circo Massimo on June 29 and July 1, 2025, followed by a major Italian arena tour kicking off in March 2026, with dates in cities like Milan, Bologna, Turin, Bari, and Florence.
